Dr. Zelijko Pantic Awarded ACL-HHS Grant
Dr. Zelijko Pantic has been awarded a grant from DHHS -
Administration for Community Living - National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research. His project is titled "The Next-Generation Public Charging Infrastructure and Cyber-Information Network for Enhanced Inclusion and Independent Living of Power Mobility Device Users." The project will pilot a public charging infrastructure and cyber-information system to support the outdoor use of power mobility devices, to improve the mobility and inclusion of their owners.
Dr. Pantic's primary areas of interests are electrified transportation, personal mobility, charging systems for electric vehicles, power converters design and control, systems for wireless inductive and capacitive power transfer, magnetic circuit design, and electromagnetic energy conversion principles as applied in transportation electrification and charging systems.
