The Bionic Human: Making Fantasy a Reality


Dr. Helen Huang along with two members of her lab, Stephanie Huang, research scientist and Andy Brandt, graduate student presented the current state-of-the-art bionic technologies for lower limb amputees and highlighted their approach to making the bionic amputee a reality. Dr. He (Helen) Huang, Professor in the UNC/NC State Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, Director of the Closed Loop Engineering for Advanced Rehabilitation (CLEAR) and Director of the Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory (NREL).
